Cab Base Rate Definitions
Base Rate: Applied as soon as you enter the taxi and accept a ride.
Mileage: Applied once the taxi is travelling to your destination.
Wait Time: Applied when the taxi is travelling 12 mph or slower during the trip (for example, at red lights or in heavy stop-and-go traffic). Customers are not charged per mile when wait time applies.
Extras: Technology fee (applied to all fares), large car fee fee, tolls, additional passengers over two (excluding children 11 years old and under).
Flat Rate: Fixed price regardless of time or mileage. These special rates are limited and apply to key areas.
